Having been in photography for 2 years now. I have captured random images as what my mind can imagine. Composition is an art in photography, many people can shot the same subject but only a few can make the great shot. For me, involving myself to see a variety of pictures in the internet really help me a lot on what to shoot and especially how to shoot. I have upgraded my camera twice already and I have to prove to myself that it was worth investing.

So it came a time last year that I decided to learn a new software recommended by my close friend, totomai, which is also a blogger to use Adobe Lightroom as my tool for post-processing . I run some tutorial videos in the net and I end up with Anthony Morganti, a photographer from the US showing easy to learn tutorial in Lightroom. So I grabbed the chance to see the videos in his website and found out that he will do critiques on how to improve in photography therefore I did some shots in the bay near our office and submit it to him for critique. For almost 2 months, my chance had gained its position. I am showcased in his work with the number 105. I am very happy to hear all of his recommendation and appreciation in my photography. Small little thing from a professional is the greatest thing from an amateur.

So please take time to listen his comments on my photography. The video is shared from its youtube channel so you might as well check it out.

Once again, thank you very much Mr. Anthony Morganti for this video. I really appreciate your works and effort helping out photographers like me in the field.

Have a nice day everyone and stay safe.
God be with us always.

Happy blogging

For me, this is my hashtags for the snowboarding event we had last December 14-15 at Hakuba Goryo snow resort. Arriving very early at the resort and placing our things in the locker room, we are ready to rock.
I am very please to know that the snowboarding attire in this resort was one of a class, variety of color combinations makes you in a picture look awesome and can turn you into a PRO snowboarder ( anyway that's how it felt like). Starting so early at around 8:30, we go out in the open and having some practice in a mid slope freeway. Everyone in our group (Dash TTE's) are very eager to board. Falling many times was not considered to be a factor, everybody falls even the snow at that time was falling heavily. A little distance far ahead was so blurry that any eye cannot anymore percept.

This is a video of my girlfriend doing some snowboarding as I took the camera and followed her up to finish. I myself was so proud for her enthusiasm and what's more, she didn't fall on this video. We are all beginners so we slide the slope a little slow and the board is almost perpendicular to the slope so that we can guarantee a safe fall, a big consideration on the event like this.

I also have my video but that was a little boring, just plane snowboarding to cater my need of remembering events like this in the future.

Everybody enjoyed and also everybody felt the fatigue. So as we part from the resort, everyone was sleeping in the bus going back to Tokyo and into our apartment.

Everybody was safe. Thank God for this opportunity and keeping us safe.

Happy blogging everyone.

I was captivated with the latest release of Canon DSLR line, the Canon 6D. I do evaluations on what will be its performance compared to my Canon 7D. Canon 6D is similar to Canon 60D when it comes to body shape and size so basically good for travelling. When I start to do test shots with a friend who also have 6D unit, I was amazed with its performance especially at low light conditions. I won't have to worry anymore on slow shutter speeds because I can have a high value of ISO with less noise. And because I love wide angle shots, this affordable full-frame unit is my best choice.

I am only a hobbyist in photography but I'm learning the most of it to give my audience great shots and amazing pictures.

Take a look at this shot. This picture was taken at 1/50sec with ISO of 12800 at F/4.0 wide aperture. The noise at this range are still considerably great.

This picture is taken at sunset with with shutter speed of 1/125sec with ISO speed of 1000 at F/4.0 wide aperture. I like this shot because I don'have to worry about digital noise on my background not like with Canon 7D ISO 1000 where noise is already noticeable and hard to eliminate in post processsing.

If you are a fan of landscape photography, I will recommend the latest release of Canon DSLRs, the Canon 6D. The price may not be friendly but this is the entry level for fullframe sensors in the market. Much affordable than the famous Canon 5D. The only downside I think about this unit is the card slot. Available slot is only 1 compared to its rival Nikon D600 having 2 card slots. Also, just make sure you have a spare of memory card when your shooting and extra battery or maybe a battery grip if you are a fan of the wifi capability of this unit because it drains its battery a lot faster.

until here,
Happy shooting everyone.
This is the time of the day that every minute is very crucial to have a nice full golden sun. I love the beauty of the sky when the sun touches the horizon. Its colorful ambient brings elegance to your photo. Adding a little subject in the foreground and it's perfect.

I took this shot on a tripod to attain stability and set it to high aperture not to lose focus on the foreground as well as the background but will be compensated with a slow shutter speed. After 5 minutes, the sun was then covered by the clouds and thus loosing the bright lights. My shot will not end there. I reposition my tripod to get a nice angle on the sky and the foreground subject. After taking various shots , I decided to wait for a fish to show in my camera view.

This year almost come to an end. Last November 30,2013, our Inage Badminton Tournament also has its champion.
We only place 1st-runner up after being undefeated in the round-robin. To these dates, our badminton racquets and shuttlecock will
again rest for this cold season. No more jumping smashes, drop-shots and clear-shots.

Not only our tournament will take its rest. Autumn leaves had withered and fell to the ground in this season of winter. More cold and more clothing will be worn throughout this season.

This maybe the end of colorful leaves flying around the streets but this will also be the best time to do snow-boarding and skiing.

We will have our snowboarding this coming December 14-15 at Hakuba Snow Resort. I hope everyone will enjoy. Let us just always keep in mind that safety is always the first priority.

Happy snowboarding and I will post our snow-boarding event later this month.
